The culinary scene is also one of the great protagonists aboard Zafiro. On board the cruise you will take part in a unique culinary experience based purely on Amazonian foods.

El Zafiro has 19 luxurious suites that assure travelers the necessary privacy and tranquility to enjoy a privileged experience. All of the suites have panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that allow you to appreciate the immensity of the Peruvian Amazon from an intimate and exclusive setting.
Suites
Sixteen of the nineteen suites aboard Zafiro are 21m² and are divided between the first and second deck. Eight of them, located on the first deck, have panoramic windows from floor to ceiling that will allow to have you a continuous contact with the show that nature depicts along the Amazon. The eight suites located on the second deck have a private balcony overlooking the jungle, a venue that allows you to enjoy the journey in a unique way.
Four of these suites are interconnected; making it an ideal choice for family tourism.
Master Suite
The two master suites, 23m², are located at the bow of the boat, on the first deck. Its 90-degree view windows ensure a unique visual experience throughout the entire Amazonian expedition.
All the master suites are fully equipped with air conditioning, a private bathroom with 360 degree shower, a mini bar, Peruvian pima cotton sheets and exotic fruit-infused amenities, among other amenities.
Zafiro Suite
The Zafiro Suite, of 44.60m² and located on the second deck, has a 180-degree with panoramic windows to enjoy the landscape of the Peruvian Amazon and a private balcony. It is one of the most exclusive facilities of the cruise and offers travelers a unique and privileged way to feel the heartbeat of the Amazon.
This suite also has a private bathroom and living room and is fully equipped with air conditioning, a mini bar, Peruvian pima cotton sheets and exotic fruit-infused amenities, among other amenities.

You cannot get to know a new part of the world without savoring its cuisine. The dining room of Zafiro is one of the points from where you will experience the heart of the Amazon with unsurmountable intensity.
Peruvian cuisine is recognized as one of the best in the world. Their recipes reflect the three regional areas of the country: coast, sierra, and jungle… as well as a fusion of influences from different eras and immigrant cultures.
The cuisine aboard Zafiro is characterized by flavors and food extracted from the Amazon jungle; exotic fruits, regional vegetables, and species play an essential role in the gastronomic proposal of the cruise.
Diversity also plays its role in our dining room, where you can find lighter dishes and / or vegetarian options. In case of intolerances or special diets, our team will be in charge of offering a suitable option for each guest (Please inform us in advance of any food restrictions or special dietary needs).
Interior Lounge
The interior lounge area of the Zafiro has everything you need to recover after an intense day of excursions in the Amazon jungle. Enjoy the elegant relaxation and take a break.
Decorated with handicrafts made by the indigenous communities of the area and featuring large windows overlooking the Amazon, this venue becomes a corner from where you can continue discoverting.
The sofas with exterior views are an ideal setting to read, rest, and relax without missing a detail of what happens next to the river. The bar, located in this same space, is a unique meeting point where you can savor the most exotic cocktails in the region. In our 24 hour station you have access to coffee, tea, and snacks at any time of the day.
There are also moments where parties are held in the interior lounge, where you can enjoy live music and dance with our crew.
Exterior Lounge
Let yourself be caressed by the Amazonian breeze, enjoy the immense views of the river, and share moments of relaxation in the open air.
Our outdoor relaxation area, located on the upper level of the Zafiro, will allow you to take a break without losing a second of the details of what happens around the Amazon.
The cushioned deck chairs are a privileged space from which to feel the rhythm of the Amazon. The outdoor bar, located in this area of the boat, will allow you to enjoy the most refreshing cocktails at your best time of day.
Feel the harmony in the SPA
While standing before the immensity of nature, only the authentic remains and there is no place for tensions, stress, or worries. It is in this environment that you find the best time to be free, pampered and relaxed.
In the Spa on board the Zafiro, you will have the opportunity to enjoy relaxing spa treatments such as aromatherapy or therapeutic massages.
Our wellness specialists will adapt their schedule to your needs for your convenience. If you prefer, spa treatments can be in-suite.
Activate your body in the Excersise Room
Exercising your body frees your spirit. Do not give up on exercising during your vacation.
Our on-board exercise room is equipped with an exercise treadmill and a stationary bicycle and has enough space for toning and cardio exercises without losing sight of the Amazonian landscape.

Finishing the day in a bubbly outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the Amazon is a dream come true. The Zafiro Jacuzzi, located on the outside of the boat, is the perfect setting for contemplation and taking in the sunset of the Peruvian jungle.

IMPORTANT
- Rates are expressed in US Dollars, per person, based on double occupancy.
- Single Supplement is 30% in addition to the adult rate.
- Child policy: the recommended age is 7 years old + on all departures. Children aged 7 to 11 years old are eligible for a 50% discount from theadult rate. Children must be accompanied by one or two adults per suite. The capacity is of one child per suite.
- Charter: Pricing for custom-designed charters are quoted according to your specific request and needs.
RATE INCLUSIONS
- 1 night accommodation Hotel – City of Iquitos. (Only 8D/7N and 5D/4N programs).
- Lunch is included before boarding at our DoubleTree by Hilton Iquitos hotel. (This service depens on the arrival time of the recommended flight, which might change), (Valid for the 8D/7N and 5D/4N programs), (The 4D/3N itinerary includes a box lunch).
- All meals while on board Zafiro.
- All excursions & equipment (including rubber boots & rain ponchos).
- Transfers from / to the airport on the recommended flights.
- In case the passengers stay in Iquitos city hotels – please inform the reservations department to coordinate the pick up or drop off service at reservas@amazonrex.com
- Entrance fee to Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve.
- Beverages: Sodas, natural juices, coffee, tea, water, local beer, and house wines available at all times. Premium bar available at an additional cost. Cocktails, spirits, and bottled water are not included.

RATE EXCLUSIONS

- Cost of medical emergencies (including evacuation).
- Tipping etiquette: On board Zafiro cruise, we recommend a tip amount of USD 60 per passenger per night for the crew (which will be divided among all crew members) and a tip amount of USD 40 per passenger per night for the guides. Please note that these amounts are suggested and that this is entirely at the discretion of our guests.

BOOKING POLICY
- For all travel agents registered in our agent portal, we offer the benefit of holding tentative bookings without prepayment for up to 7 days. This benefit is exclusive to individual reservations
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS FOR INDIVIDUALS/FITS
- Reservations made 91 days or more before departure: A deposit of US$ 500 per person is required to confirm the booking.The remaining balance must be paid 90 days prior to departure. If payment is not received on time, the space will be automatically released.
- Reservations made 90 days or less prior to departure: A full, non-refundable payment is required to confirm the booking.
CANCELATION POLICY
- For cancellations made 180 days or more prior to the departure date: The deposit will be refunded, less USD 300 per person for administrative fees.
- For Cancelations made 179 to 91 days prior to departure: All deposits are nonrefundable.
- For Cancelations made 90 days or less prior to departure: Full payment will be applied as the cancelation penalty.

DEPARTURE DATE CHANGE POLICY
- Jungle Experiences permits guests to change the departure date of their cruise at least 181 days prior to their original date of departure without penalty.
- A fee of USD 500 per person will be applied for date changes made between 180 and 121 days prior to departure.
- No date changes are permitted within 120 days from departure.
NAME CHANGE POLICY
- Jungle Experiences permits guests to change their names to other travelers’ names up to 60 days prior departure date, without penalty.
- In case there is a change of name requested 59 days or less prior eparture date, there will be a USD 200 penalty charge per person.
